About

What we stand for, and who we are.

We have been the ones brought in when it mattered. Now we do it for owners instead of boardrooms.

Our mission

We help owners take back control of their business and their life, so what comes next is decided on their terms.

An azimuth is the exact bearing to where you are going.

Guiding principles

Three things we hold to.

Short enough to remember, and each one costs us something. That is the test.

An owner in glasses talks and gestures at an outdoor cafe table while the person across from him, seen from behind, listens01

Seek first to understand

We do not diagnose before we have listened. The first conversation is thirty minutes of listening, with no deck and no pitch.

It costs us a slower path to proposal, and occasionally a deal to someone who pitched on the first call.

An older man in a checked shirt reads a page closely at his desk, his laptop open beside him02

Honesty before comfort

We tell owners what we see, including when it is not what they want to hear. If the work is not worth it for you, we will say so and explain why.

It costs us real revenue, several times a year.

Independence is the goal

Every engagement transfers capability rather than creating dependency. We measure success by how little we are needed at the end.

It costs us the retainer we deliberately do not build.

Why we exist

The best advice rarely reaches the businesses that need it most.

We were the people brought in when a transformation had to work. Now we bring that same discipline to owners instead of boardrooms.

That work is expensive. So it goes to the wrong places.

Senior accessIllustrative index of senior-level involvement, not a measured statistic.
A large enterprise getsA senior team and the full discipline.92%
A $2M business getsA junior consultant and a template. Or nothing at all.15%
With Azivaro AdvisorsThe same senior discipline, sized to the business.92%
What that means in practice

The difference is who does the work

Question
A typical firm
Azivaro Advisors
Who does the work
Partners sell the work. Associates deliver it.
Three senior people, and nobody behind them doing the actual work.
Where it starts
One framework, reused across every client.
Your business. Not a deck we reuse.
Who stays
The team that pitched you leaves once you sign.
Whoever you meet in the first conversation does the work.
What you keep
A final report, and a dependency on the firm that wrote it.
The documents are yours. The systems are yours. They hold after we leave.
The team

Three people. One sequence.

We have worked together for more than a decade. That is why there are no gaps between the phases.

Portrait of C. Scott Hambrook

C. Scott Hambrook

Financial intelligence · MBA

Twenty-five years in corporate finance and business intelligence across healthcare, biotechnology, manufacturing, energy, and banking. Scott defines the destination in numbers: what the business is worth today, what it needs to be worth, and the path between the two.

“Every owner has a number in their head. My job is to find out whether it is real, and if it is not, exactly what it would take to get there.”

Portrait of Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan

Change & Program Lead · MBA

Thirty years leading transformations inside complex organizations across healthcare, financial services and manufacturing. Michael maps what has to change and in what order, then brings the rigor that turns a direction into a plan that actually ships.

“A direction without execution is just a conversation. My job is to live in the space between.”

Dev Sharma

Platform and build

Thirteen years turning strategic concepts into production systems: client platforms, dashboards and reporting, websites and brand systems. Dev builds the thing that carries the plan, and makes sure it still runs after everyone goes home.

“Anything that starts on a napkin and has to become an executive-ready deliverable. That is what we build.”

Prior experience

Where this discipline was learned.

These are organizations the three of us worked inside across our careers. The method came out of these rooms, and we now run it at owner scale. They are not Azivaro clients.
